This program focuses on helping participants build a strong foundation in Karate, while expanding their technical repertoire and improving their mastery of movement through the in-depth study and solo practice of 'kata' (fighting forms). Practice involves learning and understanding kata routines and performing them to perfection, emphasizing precise body mechanics, mental focus, and cultivation of fighting spirit. Training is supplemented with the use of striking pads and controlled application of techniques (bunkai). This program is non-contact-intensive and is run with safety and respect at its core, upholding the spirit of Japanese martial arts culture (budo). |

Participants aged 15 and above, who are interested in a low impact Karate class and appreciate Karate through deep-diving into Kata (solo forms) in accordance to established Karate traditions.

Participants interested in formal progression in the practice may express their interest for Grading to the Coach-Instructor.
