Grading
While the martial arts is a lifelong endeavor of personal discovery and development, we recognize the need for key milestones in that journey to keep us motivated in the long run.
Grading at LHA is a tangible and progressive means of measuring a participant's growth in the martial arts, giving them clarity on areas of improvement and their potential for growth.
Being able to convey grade certificates on behalf of the international accreditation bodies we partner also means that participants get to further their study of Karate and Kudo anywhere in the world, where their certificates are recognized.
In spite of the many benefits of Grading, LHA maintains a non-mandatory Grading policy for all participants.
This means that participants can have the peace of mind to enjoy Karate/ Kudo without the constant pressure to enroll for the next Grading event.
LHA conveys grade certificates from the following grade-certifying bodies:
> Kudo International Federation (KIF) for Kudo Daido Juku
> New International Karate Organization (NIKO) for Ashihara Karate
> a partner governing body in our Lionheart network
