How is this class run?
Each month focuses on a particular kata routine or series.
Based on the selected kata, each class consists of segments covering basics, sequences, analysis and application, and physical conditioning.
The instructor facilitates each segment by extracting and imparting expert knowledge from his / her Karate experience, with participants helping to uphold a culture of safety, respect, and mutual improvement.
Each class starts and ends with a routine of bowing and meditation/ silent reflection to acknowledge one other and appreciate the opportunity to practice.
